Complete N64 Cart Only Collection

As far as I can remember this is the first complete N64 collection I have seen for sale.

I believe there were 387 N64 titles, with 308 of those being US releases. There are a lot of games for the system that fetch decent prices, but none that are overly rare. Some of the rarer games include Worms Armageddon, Clay Fighter 63 1/3 Sculptors Cut (Blockbuster Exclusive), and Super Bowling. None of them are actually that hard to find though. There are other games that are often touted as rare like Conker’s Bad Fur Day, Strarcraft, Ogre Battle 64 and Harvest Moon for example. But in comparison, the three I named have less listings at any time. Furthermore, while Clayfighter is one of the rarest in theory, you usually see less Worms Armageddon and Super Bowling carts for sale.

Bottom line is that there are no truly rare N64 games, and none with crazy prices (so far). There is actually hardware like the Banana Controller (Not the Yellow controller, that actual Bananna controller. Thought I posted about this before, but I can’t seem to find it. I’ll make a note to do a new post on it) that is significantly rarer than the games themselves.

So with this auction you’re either hoping for potential resale, or paying for the value in knocking out a complete collection in one go. It’s hard to say which way this will go though. As an example, I’ve seen complete NES Collections sold for far below market value AND others for much more. All depends on who’s bidding at the time I guess.

Action Here – Just broke $1,000 and has a week to go.
