GameSniped’s first official release! CreatiVision OOAK Xmas Multicart!

Do you remember when I wrote about a special greeting card, branded GameSniped, talking about my Sonic Crackers and Toon Panic auctions? (yes, this is called promotion!).

Well, it’s time for a true charity auction.

Something unique.

I think you all know that I’m a good friend of MADrigal, from the CreativEmu Team, makers of the multicart for one of the most obscure systems ever.
I’ve asked them to make a special cartridge for a special auction.

Here you have a true one of a kind that will even show the name of the owner inside the welcome message and a special-expressively made-Xmas demo by Kurt Woloch. Inside the box you will find the greeting card signed by us to wish you a merry christmas!

Check the auctions for a complete description of all the special features!

Sadly in Italy I can’t easely setup a charity auction, so, once the auction will be closed I will simply donate the final price to Amnesty and post a screenshot or receipt here!

Will this be worth thousands in 2 years? Who cares. Now it’s worth way way more.

Enjoy, and merry Christmas!!!

  1. Wow, that’s pretty awesome. Seriously one of a kind… No more of these will come out of the woodworks… I think I might actually have to earn some money to try to win this thing, lol. (And donate at the same time!)

  2. I’m one of the authors of this “one of a kind Multicart”. Yes, it’s a unique item we’ve specially made to contribute the Amnesty International association. We were pleased that Gamesniped asked us to contribute, and we’ve done our best to manufacture it.

Special greetings and thanks to talented programmer Kurt Woloch from Vienna, who was capable of coding the unique “Christmas Demo”, specially for this cart.

The “Christmas Demo” ROM is *NOT* available elsewhere, and will be released in 2008 (for use with creatiVision emulators only). This means that there will be a single creatiVision owner, to play the Christmas Demo on his console. Sorry we can’t publish a screenshot of the demo, it’s a surprise/secret, but believe me: it’s very nice! 🙂

Merry Xmas to everybody and happy bidding!

  3. Hi, I’m another member of the CreatiVemu Team and I’m proud to offer this unique opportunity to raise funds for Amnesty International.

There’s nothing to say more than Luca’s post, he’s explained all, very well .

I wish you a merry Christmas and … bid, bid , bid!

  4. Hi, I’m the author of the “Christmas Demo” which Luca asked me to put together. As to my knowledge, it’s the first homebrew SOFTWARE for the Creativision ever which got released on a cartridge (Luca’s multicart, of course, is the first homebrew HARDWARE for it). I coded it in pure 6502 assembly (having some experience with the 6502 CPU and the TI VDP and sound chip from the TI-99 and the Commodore 64, which were my first home computers).

I’m wishing you a Merry Christmas, Have Fun for the lucky buyer, and good luck to the Gamesniped team for the auction!
