Arcade Weekends

For many video game collectors, there is no item more desirable in the whole wide world than their own authentic arcade machine. It’s another Arcade Weekends, and remember, Winners Don’t Use Drugs.

I will point out every week that arcade units purchased from auction sites usually have inflated prices — unless you live close enough to the seller that you can pick the unit up yourself. Many sellers know this and list their items as Local Pick-Ups only (marked here as LPUs). If you DO live near any of today’s sellers, some of these deals aren’t bad.

From Martinsburg, West Virginia: SEVEN AT ONCE! Terminator 2, Tekken 2, NFL Blitz/NBA Jam, 1942, Area 51, Lethal Enforcers, and a bowling game. The story goes that they were found in a storage unit, caked with dust. Weirdly, the seller made no attempt to remove any of that dust before offering these up, nor did he even try plugging them in….which sounds suspicious, but he’s got a 100% feedback rating so far, so……You can ask the seller for a shipping quote, but it won’t be cheap.

From Easton, Maryland: Asteroids, BIN at $649 or best offer, LPU but seller will deliver within 150-mile radius at a cost of $1.35 per mile.

From Monkton, Maryland: Another Asteroids, LPU, BIN at $574 or best offer.

From Fairview Heights, Illinois: Klax unit, BIN at $395, freight shipping available.

From Warrenville, Illinois: Turbo OutRun, several shipping options, BIN at $500 or best offer.

From Marion, Ohio: Mario Bros, BIN at $395.95, ask seller for a shipping quote. Visible scratches on monitor.

From Warrenville, Illinois: Soul Calibur, several shipping options, $300 BIN or best offer.

From Mechanicville, New York: super-cheap Space Invaders cocktail, BIN at $199.99, several shipping options.
