Tanglewood is an incredible homebrew concept created by Big Evil Corporation. Big Evil made their ‘big’ announcement about this Sega Genesis homebrew just over a year ago.
Retro gamers have been awaiting its release ever since. Why? Because this game will be full of rich, pixelated animations, amazing settings, and so much more.
Set in Tanglewood’s realm, a creature named Nymn accidentally separates from the pack. It’s a scary night for Nymn, as Tanglewood is a very dangerous and terrifying place once night falls. Your job is to help Nymn return home safely by through trickery, your best evasive skills, traps, and more.

In order to get this incredible game out as soon as possible, the company has created a Kickstarter to recruit the best developers, composers, and artists to complete the project. Those who back the video game Kickstarter will get their game cartridge for approximately $50.
Backers will also receive a professional e-book about the creation of the game. The goal of the Kickstarter was to raise somewhere around $59,400 in order to get the game completed in a timely manner. At present, nearly 900 people have backed this incredible video game project and have raised nearly $68,000.

Clearly, some people are very eager to get their hands on this game. This Sega classic game console homebrew should be released sometime in late 2017 (most likely in the winter). In the meantime, you can download the playable demo of Tanglewood.
