XBOX 360 Slim

At E3 earlier this week, Microsoft officially announced the new XBOX 360 Slim. Basically a slimmer, quieter XBOX 360. Attendees to the announcement press conference were given a free unit, and it was announced systems would start shipping immediately to be be available on store shelves before week’s end.

I’m curious if we might see any sort of demand and possible shortage for this units, although I think it is doubtful.

Despite my thoughts, units are getting bids on eBay. There are several with bids over the retail price of $299.99, mostly in the low to mid $300.00 range.

I can find only two that have sold so far, both for $449.00.
