Intellivision Orphan Overlay Proof Set

This is a really neat item which I think is pretty cheap at the moment.

If you’re not an Intellivision collector, you might not be familiar with the Orphan Overlay set. Basically, they are newly manufactured, custom overlays for many of those games that came without them originally.

You can still pick up a complete set for $68.00 if you’re interested, or a complete boxed set for $125.00, but even more interesting right now is this Proof Set.

I wish the seller has said more than this:

This is the orphan overlay proof set purchased from Roger himself. This is a 1 of a kind set. I am an at cost shipper. What it cost me to ship it to you is all you pay. If you have any questions please email me.

I’m assuming these are original pre production samples from when the begin to be commercially printed (originally they were homemade). Very interesting item with a bit of homebrew history.

Currently $34.99 with twelve hours to go and four bids.
