Arcade Weekends

For many video game collectors, there is no item more desirable in the whole wide world than their own authentic arcade machine. It’s another Arcade Weekends, and remember, Winners Don’t Use Drugs.

I will point out every week that arcade units purchased from auction sites usually have inflated prices — unless you live close enough to the seller that you can pick the unit up yourself. Many sellers know this and list their items as Local Pick-Ups only (marked here as LPUs). If you DO live near any of today’s sellers, some of these deals aren’t bad.

arcade21-1 From Mars, Pennsylvania: RoadBlasters, current bid as of this writing is $302, LPU. Roadblasters was my favorite arcade game growing up. Wish I was a Martian so I could get this.

arcade21-2 From Simi Valley, California: Asteroids, BIN at $750 or best offer, LPU. Note that someone who thought they were cool carved “SUP” into the side once.

arcade21-3 From Phoenix City, Alabama: Best price I’ve seen for a KI2 machine yet; BIN at $850 but has no current bids at $600, LPU.

arcade21-4 From Youngstown, Ohio: Bargain Donkey Kong, currently has no bids at $550, LPU.

arcade21-5 From Livonia, Michigan: Restored and refurbished Robotron, current bid is $102.50, freight shipping possible.

arcade21-6 From Ballwin, Missouri: Pole Position, BIN at $350, LPU.

arcade21-7 From Indianapolis, Indiana: Start your engines….it’s a triple-unit auction! World Class Bowling, Shinobi and Rally Bike. Ends soon with a current bid of $311.98, freight shipping possible.

arcade21-8 From Mount Prospect, Illinois: A Pokemon Snap Station, ends very soon with no bids at $500, LPU.
