Fallout 3 Rivet City 1/48 Scale Model Diorama Aircraft

Up for sale is a custom diorama in 1/48 scale of the aircraft found in the excellent video game ‘Fallout 3’. The aircraft is really a WWII Lockheed P-80/F-80 ‘Shooting Star’ with fictional wingfolds for storage on the (used to be) aircraft carrier that is now Rivet City. The aircraft is Monogram’s great classic 1/48 kit with scratchbuilt wing folds to represent the aircraft in the game. The sign and base were scratchbuilt. Painting and weathering were done with airbrushing and artist’s oils and pastels.
