Huge Nintendo Starfox Store Display

This would look amazing in a game room. I’m not sure if Nicola mentioned this guy earlier, but I wanted to make sure the pictures were archived.

From the auction:

This is a huge advertising display that really wasn’t intended for stores but was intended to be displayed in Nintendo corporate offices. Not sure what it is made of – hard plastic, fiberglass, resin? It is rigid and hollow inside. I believe it was produced in 2000 and has no labels or any identifying information on it. I bought it about 9 years ago from someone who used to work at Nintendo. I was told that only 10-20 of these were produced. It is 46” tall, 27” wide elbow to elbow, and 21” deep from tip of his nose to tip of his tail. It weighs approximately 21 lbs. and is attached to a heavy metal base. This will be pricy to mail. Professional packaging will be $80 and postage by UPS ground could be around $150 or more (estimate give by UPS store). It has been stored for 9 years in the garage and has some very minor scratches. I took a couple of pics of what I think are the bigger scratches – white dots on his nose and a scratch on one of his sleeves. Winning bidder will pay bid plus $80 packaging and all postal/mailing costs and insurance. If you live locally (Seattle/Tacoma area) we can arrange pickup to save on packaging/mailing costs. This would make an excellent gift or a great addition to your Nintendo Advertising Memorabilia collection. Return only if item has been grossly misrepresented. Ask questions and best of luck bidding.
