Sega Genesis Greatest Heavyweights Complete With Fruit Roll Up

Yes, you heard that correct – Fruit Rollup. Seems this must have been a promotion at the time, as the wrapper states “Free Sample With this Video Game”.

I guess the logic was:

Mom: What game do you want?
Kid: THIS ONE HAS A FREE FRUIT ROLLUP!!!!111

It appears this promo was also done with several other games as well, including at least Gunstar Heroes, Landstalkers and Young Indiana Jones. One thing I can’t confirm though, is if this was a limited offer, or if they were included in every copy of these games.
