Win big on Mega Moolah Slots

If you want a real chance to win huge jackpots then progressive slot games are the right choice for you. But which one do you try? There are absolutely loads out there these days but we love the very first progressive jackpot slots game – Mega Moolah.

Mega Moolah has an exciting and cute safari theme and was originally created by Microgaming back in 2006, which is one reason why it’s so high in quality.

But how does the game work? And what’s it all about? You start off with a video introduction before you are taken on to your personal safari where you’ll see loads of different African animals, including elephants, giraffes and the rest of the Big Five. Beautiful depictions of these animals are used as the symbols for the slots game, as well as the usual numbers and letters.

The Mega Moolah 5 reel drive means that there are five reels and 25 pay lines. You can bet up to 125 coins – easily done by slapping the ‘bet max’ button you’ll find at the bottom of the screen when you decide you want to bet the biggest amount possible.

Choose from regular mode or expert mode. The latter means you can use the Autoplay, which means you can play without interacting with the software and means you can turn off all the sounds if you prefer – for some people this can be a big relief!

Various symbols have different special values. For example, the depiction of the lion is a wild card, which means it can be used in place of any other symbol to win (other than the scatter monkey, which has its own specific value in that you win as long as you get two of them, it doesn’t matter where they come on the board).

A free spin is yours if you land on three, four or five scatter monkeys in one go and will give you an amazing 15 spins for absolutely nothing. Also any money you win during these free spins is multiplied by three.

All of these are great features, of course, but the progressive jackpot is the really amazingly exciting part of this slot game. This bonus feature is divided into four – mini, minor, major and mega, which all start at different amounts. For example, the mini progressive starts at $10.00 for the jackpot; the jackpot for the minor progressive is $100, the major progressive jackpot starts at $10,000 and the biggest, the mega progressive jackpot starts at a ridiculous $1,000,000.

The bonus feature is in the wheels that spin. It’s colour coded to show you which jackpot you have been lucky enough to win. Obviously for the mega jackpot there is just the one slot, but if you do land on it then it is your lucky day because you have won in excess of a cool $1,000,000! And it does really happen, people win the mega jackpot a few times a year, and the other amounts regularly pay out as well.
