Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders (FM TOWNS)

I`m not a FM Towns collector, but I`m impressed to learn there’s an active demand for variant games. If you`re not familiar with the system, it`s a Japanese PC variant, built by Fujitsu from 1989 – 1997. It started as a proprietary PC variant intended for multimedia applications and PC games, but later became more compatible with regular PCs. Then in 1993 the FM Towns Marty console was released, compatible with the FM Towns games.

According to the auction:

There are 2 Versions out there. First Version: 2 screenshots + 1 content picture on the back; second Version: 3 screenshots on the back. (both versions also have a different serial number) If you manage to get this game it’s with a possibility of 99,9% the second version. (the last picture shows for comparison the second edition). This here offered game is the first edition (notice the 2 screenshots on the back) and so it’s the absolute rarest edition of the game you will ever find.

No idea what this is worth, as I have no price points from 2010, so it seems to be rare. Its broke $100 already and I`m not sure if the variant aspect will demand a premium.
