Arcade Weekends

For many video game collectors, there is no item more desirable in the whole wide world than their own authentic arcade machine. COIN DETECTED IN POCKET: It’s another Arcade Weekends.

I will point out every week that arcade units purchased from auction sites usually have inflated prices — unless you live close enough to the seller that you can pick the unit up yourself. Many sellers know this and list their items as Local Pick-Ups only (marked here as LPUs). If you DO live near any of today’s sellers, some of these deals aren’t bad.

From Waterford, Michigan: X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, ends soon at a current bid price of $304, in used condition but fully functional, $375 packing and shipping charge.

From Mount Zion, Illinois: Double Dragon, BIN at $650 or best offer, freight shipping possible.

From Benton Harbor, Michigan: Joust 2, LPU, ends soon with no bids at $500.

From Simi Valley, California: Space Duel, of The Who album cover fame, BIN at $599 or best offer, LPU but free shipping within 50 miles.

From Saginaw, Michigan: Galaga at a great BIN ($320), works great, shipping must be arranged by buyer.

From Walnut, California: Cruis’n USA, LPU or free delivery within 50 miles, current bid price as of this post is $134,05.

From North Waterboro, Maine: Restored Killer Instinct, LPU, reserve currently not met at $810 (and very hard to find under $1000).

From Mount Prospect, Illinois: Pokemon Snap Station…. wait, that’s not an arcade! This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about! Oh well, I’m sure there are interested buyers reading this anyway. LPU, ends soon with no bids at $500.
