Arcade Weekends

For many video game collectors, there is no item more desirable, no monolith more awe-inspiring to a man-cave, than their own authentic arcade machine. Get ready to drool like you’re 18 weeks old….it’s Arcade Weekends.

I will point out every week that arcade units purchased from auction sites usually have inflated prices — unless you live close enough to the seller that you can pick the unit up yourself. Many sellers know this and list their items as Local Pick-Ups only (marked here as LPUs). If you DO live near any of today’s sellers, some of these deals aren’t bad.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: I wrote this anticipating it’d be posted on Saturday morning. Apologies if half of them are expired by now.

From Portland, Oregon: Asteroids, $800 BIN, but ends soon with no bids at…….$100?!? GREAT SCOTT, MARTY! (Okay, you’re probably not going to get it for $100. Note that a set reserve price has not been met yet.)

From Walled Lake, Michigan: After Burner, BIN at $518.70, but ends soon with no bids at $399. LPU.

From Hagerstown, Maryland: Pac-Man Jr, very low BIN at $285, seller will ship if requested through North American Van Lines.

From Huntington Beach, California: Super Pac-Man, current high bid as of this moment is $224; LPU unless you arrange shipping yourself.

From Bridgeport, Connecticut: Deluxe Space Invaders from 1979; installed with the Braze Multi-Game Kit which plays eight variations of the game; ends soon; current high bid as of this writing is $152.50.

From Waterford, Michigan: Area 51: Site 4; ends soon; current high bid as of this writing is $110. Seller will ship for an added cost of $350.

1940 “Shoot The Mother-In-Law” Rifle Game Only $2,995, and it “almost works.”
