Limited Edition Orange XBOX 360 TRON Controller

This controller was released this month by Performance Designed Products (PDP) to capitalize on the release of Tron: Legacy and the renewed interest in the Tron franchise. It was available for pre-order at $49.99 and limited to 250 numbered controlled – which sold out quickly.

Basically, it’s inspired by Clu and the Black Guard from the Tron films. The orange around it actually illuminates, and it happens to be officially licensed by Microsoft. It’s also wired (boo!). Given the release numbers and the insane LE 360 collectors out there, it’s not too surprising this thing is going to fetch crazy prices. None have ended yet, but there are several on eBay at the moment. The highest is currently $182.00.

The Blue light-up Collector’s Edition TRON wired controller on the other had was limited to a mere 20,000 units per platform and are fetching around $80 – $100 on eBay.
