Arcade Button Light Switches

This Etsy seller is selling these cool and nerdy light switch with arcade buttons. This isn’t the first seller to use arcade buttons as alternative to every day switches, DJTechTools.com have been selling these midi controllers with 12 or more custom made or made to order.

Armed with a regular light switch box, a drill, and a couple of Sanwa arcade buttons, you could probably make one of these light switches yourself if you’re one of those people who likes to take on a challenge or just simply enjoys a DIY weekend project.

There’s been a steady decline on arcades in America and probably the rest of the world (except for Japan). Maybe a few arcades exist on waiting areas at the airport, movie theaters, laundromats, etc.. A documentary about the last great arcade here NYC called Arcade: The Last Night at Chinatown Fair is being made after a successful fund raiser that ended on May 31st of this year. Chinatown Fair closed its doors in February of this year after 50 years of operation.
