Arcade Weekends

For many video game collectors, there is no item more desirable in the whole wide world than their own authentic arcade machine. Do you like my new trunks? They are size XXX Large! Ha Ha Ha! It’s another Arcade Weekends.

I will point out every week that arcade units purchased from auction sites usually have inflated prices — unless you live close enough to the seller that you can pick the unit up yourself. Many sellers know this and list their items as Local Pick-Ups only (marked here as LPUs). If you DO live near any of today’s sellers, some of these deals aren’t bad.

From Fargo, North Dakota: Pole Position, LPU, BIN at $500. Details are sparse and the pic is small; you might want to ask the seller a few questions first.

From Indianapolis, Indiana: “Nice Pac-Man Arcade Machine,” BIN at $850 or best offer, shipping must be arranged by buyer. Privately owned for over 20 years.

From Marietta, Georgia: Neo-Geo 4-Slot Arcade, BIN at $600 or best offer, $275 shipping to major US cities. Contains Baseball Stars and Street Slam, plus your choice of two other carts from a library of 10.

From Sunland, California: Another Neo-Geo, LPU, BIN at $599 or best offer. Contains Bust-A-Move, Metal Slug 1 and 1942.

From Carol Stream, Illinois: Super Hang-On, BIN at $299, and it’s one of those rare items that the seller will pay to ship anywhere. The cabinet needs some restoration but the game works.

From Fresno, California: Namco’s Crisis Zone, LPU, BIN at $499.

From Peru, Indiana: Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara, BIN at $975 or best offer. Seller will personally deliver to Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, and eastern Iowa, but nowhere else.

From Saint Joseph, Michigan: “Let’s Have A Laugh At These Tomfooleries!” penny arcade sign, ends soon with no bids at $12.99. Ships worldwide.
