Arcade Weekends

For many video game collectors, there is no item more desirable in the whole wide world than their own authentic arcade machine. Coming in the fall of 1995, for your Nintendo Ultra 64….it’s another Arcade Weekends.

I will point out every week that arcade units purchased from auction sites usually have inflated prices — unless you live close enough to the seller that you can pick the unit up yourself. Many sellers know this and list their items as Local Pick-Ups only (marked here as LPUs). If you DO live near any of today’s sellers, some of these deals aren’t bad.

From Shawnee, Kansas: Missile Command, BIN at $650, LPU, reserve not currently met at $100. Privately owned since 1993.

From Madison, Ohio: Tron, BIN at $403.33, several shipping options. This cabinet has seen better days, but it still works, and Tron is hard to find under $1000.

From Woonsocket, RI: Donkey Kong Jr., current bid is $600, shipping possible plus a $50 packing fee.

From Johnstown, Pennsylvania: Nintendo’s Popeye, BIN at $699 but ends soon with no bids at $499. It still has quarters inside because the owner lost the key.

From Madison, Ohio: Midway’s Gun Fight from 1975, one of the earliest arcade video games, BIN at $253.33 or best offer, several shipping options. Note: this game doesn’t turn on. I try not to link to many busted units, but Gun Fight is something you don’t run across every day.

From Romulus, Michigan: WWF Super Stars, LPU, BIN at $300 (and yes, there’s a reason, the left joystick is broken. It’s more fixable than Gun Fight though).

From Finksburg, Maryland: Mr. Do!, no bids yet at $425, seller will ship for a $300 flat rate.

From Simi Valley, California: Tempest, BIN at $750 or best offer, LPU or free shipping within a certain area range. Professionally refurbished.
