Nintendo Game Boy Light Clear Skeleton Famitsu Mail Order

One of the most coveted Game Boy versions is the Game Boy Light Clear Skeleton Famitsu “Event” version. It came in a cardboard-backed blister pack of sorts with a buxom red-headed female astronaut on the front. Only 5,000 were made. However, there was a mail-order version as well in a plain black box with little frills. Both systems are identical, but it is unknown how many of the mail-ins there were versus the “Event” versions.
