Sega Dreamcast Seaman LE Clear Console

This is an absolutely beautiful Sega Dreamcast Seaman from Japan. It was a limited edition model released by HMV stores in Japan. But if you’re looking at this listing then I’m sure you already know the history.

It was sold to me as new, but I can see the controller cables aren’t perfectly wound so I’m guessing it was used a couple of times. The console looks unused. It looks fresh like it was just manufactured. There are no scuffs or marks or signs of any use and it’s 100% clean. The accessories are still sealed and unused. The outer box has some very minor pressure marks but there is zero discoloration and the lines are nice and sharp. Overall it’s one of the best looking Seaman consoles left on the planet.

As a nice bonus the original HMV bag is included. A smaller Sega Dreamcast bag is included as well.

Nickelodeon Spot the Dot Nintendo 64 PROMO WINNER

Up for auction this RARE and obscure Nintendo “Spot the Dot” Nickelodeon WINNING (FIRST PRIZE!) game piece from 1996! These pieces were available at Blockbuster Video stores in 1996 promoting Nickelodeon TV and the rental / debut of Nintendo 64 game system. Once you picked up one of these game pieces (after renting a video) you were instructed to watch Nickelodeon and hold up the game piece during certain segments when the red dot appeared on the TV which would reveal your prize. Normally, the message would be concealed by a strange pixelation type of encoding on the game piece.

This particular piece happens to be a FIRST PRIZE winner and I can confirm first hand that I did NOT redeem the prize. The funny thing about these game pieces is that you really did not need to hold the game piece up to the red dot when it appeared on Nickelodeon, you could just look at the game piece held up to a bright light and you would be able to tell whether or not it was a winner.

The top prize for this contest included the following:

One walk-on role on the hit Nickelodeon series “The Secret World of Alex Mack” including a trip for 4 to Los Angeles and… One Nintendo 64 system with a Super Mario 64 game.”

Lastly, I’m watching the VGA’s on Spike atm, and it reminds me of many things I currently hate about next gen gaming. Have caught some cool trailers though, and I did enjoy the reference to Q-Bert as a manic depressive.
