Space Invaders Luxury Watch by Romain Jerome

Video game homage doesn’t get luxurious very often. Some are just quite ridiculous. But if someone has the money to burn on these things, they’ll keep coming one at a time. We’ve seen the Swarovski encrusted Wii’s in the past, even the Super Mario pendant done in diamonds and gold.

The Space Invaders franchise has had it’s share of video game related merchandise. Anything from simple Ice Cube trays, to customized wooden cutting boards. But a luxury watch? It seems so ridiculous, but Romain Jerome decided to make one. I swear, these guys make some of the most exquisite watches. Their watches range from a few thousand to several hundred thousand dollars. And with just 78 pieces made, this watch would probably sell out quick. You’ll probably see one of these on Antique’s Roadshow in 20-30 years..
