Pirates Galore

You never know what crazy stuff will come out of Asia.

I’ve had a Super 8 for years. This nifty little device plugs into your SNES and allows you to play NES and Famicom games, Top Loader style. It works great, and definitely freaks the non collectors out when you show it off.

I believe prices for this run around $80 – $120 if and when you can find it. I haven’t seen one on eBay for years, and I think mine came from Yahoo Japan.

Now there’s an easier solution however. The same way you can pick up cheap NES clones, you can now get cheap NES/SNES combo clones.

I only just ran across these, but from what I gather they work pretty decently. On the same level as the cheap NES clones. They are especially great if your entertainment center is running out of room like mine. I picked one up here and will let you know what I think of it when I get it. Price runs around $40-$50 + shipping.
