Japanese Sega Dreamcast RX-78

This is a very limited Japanese Dreamcast, with seventy eight individually numbered units released only through Sega’s online store, D-Direct. The origional price was around 34,000 YEN or $440.00 USD.

I’ve heard several people call the color scheme ugly, but I like it.

The asking price is £5,995.00 – around $9,600 USD. Looks like the seller has had five offers so far.

Regulation 7 R7 LE System – There’s conflicting info on this one. Limited to 2000 systems, it was used for Pachinko Parlors. Regulation 7 refers to regulation seven in the Japanese penal code pertaining to businesses affecting public morals. These were refurbished units. Apparently the R7 was re-released on the in 2001 to the public.

Sega Dreamcast Maziora LE System
– Released in August 1999 with only 500 units, 200 of which were signed. Has a paintjob with a “twotone” greeny/purpley effect (occasionally yellow too depending on lighting conditions) and also has the Maziora logo on both the orange box and the DC itself.

There’s also the fabulous Pink and Blue Hello Kitty LEs.
